I have lived in Muscatine for most of my life, and graduated from Muscatine High School In 2015. I took music classes at Muscatine Community College, and trained to tune pianos at Minnesota School of Piano Technology in White Bear Lake, MN.
Music has always been important to me.
I have been playing the piano since 6th grade, and I have played for local assisted living facilities, and occasionally for churches in the area. I have also studied organ and playwith a handbell choir .
I love to sing! I have been part of several school choirs and small ensembles, and with the MCC Concert Choir performed at Carnegie Hall in New York City as part of a national choir. I currently sing with the Muscatine Civic Chorale.
In addition to music, I enjoy riding bikes, swimming, running, riding horses, camping, hiking, and traveling. In high school I was on the Cross Country and Boys Swim teams for 4 years. Now I participate as a Special Olympics athlete in swimming, skiing, bowling, and track. In June 2022 I had the opportunity to represent Iowa in the Special Olympics National Games in Orlando.
